A beautifull, sunny day and no baby goats in sight
Wow a nice day and it doesn't look like anyone will kid today which is a good thing since they are not due till 3/8 but with this weather and my girls have a history of kidding 3 days early we are close.
I have a small farm were I raise Nubian Goats, hopefully one day I will be a Grade A Dairy so I can sell goats milk and cheese made from it. Right now the cost of this enterprise is beyond me but it is a dream. Beside my goats and my job I love bead with seed beads, quilt and sew, pottery both handbuilding and throwing on the wheeel, knit, crotchet and felt. I would loike to make cheese and bake bread this summer. I am interested in sustainable agriculture, the slow food movement, growing lavender in the south, grow my own vegtables including some heirlooms so that I might have enough from one growing season to the next. I love Barbara Kingslovers' book Vegtable, Mineral, Miracle also her Bean Trees. I read a olot and listen to audio books while I drive.
